Children are also welcome to attend Breakfast Club at 08.30am where toast, crumpets and juice are provided free of charge and is open to all children.

At the end of the day, children are to be collected from the Year 3 door at 3.05pm.

Homework Expectations

In Year 3 children are expected to read for at least 15 minutes each day with an adult at home. Please can this be recorded in their reading records daily. Please be aware that we do not change books as soon as the children have read them once, as we want the children to re-read books in order to develop their awareness of punctuation and develop their fluency.

Year 3 children will be given a weekly spelling list that focuses on the spelling pattern we are learning that week. We will have a spelling test every Friday and record scores to track progress. Please make sure your child is practicing these spelling words each week.

Please can children be using Times Table Rock Stars at three times a weektwice a week to practice their times tables.
